Join the ladies of Geek Girl Brunch as we team up with the International Geek Girl Pen Pals Club, for an unforgettable night. Featuring special guests, custom drinks, food, music, swag, awesome giveaways… and more! Fan boys welcome!

Amanda Goodman, Voice Actress

Amanda Goodman is a New York actor and voice actor who has appeared in independent films, improv, theatre, and commercial print. She has voiced many characters in English dubs of Japanese anime, including Revolutionary Girl Utena as Juri, Keiko, and one of the Shadow Girls. She was in Genshiken’s Kujibiki Unbalance, and voiced Komaki, and in Slayers Next she voiced the Valley Girl twins, Mimi & Nene. Amanda also voiced various roles in Boogiepop Phantom. She has recently been doing very fun radio ads, and is the voice of Rusty in Rusty’s Treehouse (an app). She has voiced female counting trains in a Sesame Street cartoon. Amanda is a current member of Cherub Improv.

We’re please to welcome the brilliant Chubear Cosplay! Meet the renowned cosplayer herself. Chubear will be on hand to announce some of our lucky raffle winners that night (and she may just share some pro cosplaying tips with a lucky few!)

Steve Scott, Comic Book Artist

Steve Scott has illustrated such titles as Batman, X-Men Forever, JLA, Batman Confidential, Marvel Adventures Hulk and many more. In addition to his work in comics, his work for television includes featured art on the hit TV series Smallville and ABC Family’s KYLE XY. To his credit, Steve was selected to draw the only adaptation to the 2008 Oscar winning film Batman the Dark Knight, overseen by director Christopher Nolan himself. That same year, George Lucas approved Steve to be the artist for Indiana Jones and the Tomb of the Gods.
Handpicked to be one of the few illustrators involved with this project, his most recent work can be found in the adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s, “The Graveyard Book”. Additionally, he has been doing art chores on the IDW series Judge Dredd.
